  • Eric Smith
    Founder / Head Trainer

Hi everybody, my name is Eric, founder and owner of K-Nine Solutions. I founded K-Nine Solutions with one goal: To provide dog owners with the help, answers, and results they desperately need, along with the care, compassion, and understanding they deserve. As someone who started many years ago with a dog that had serious issues, I know firsthand what it’s like to feel frustrated and hopeless.

This ultimately led her to pursue a career working with dogs and people.

  • Madison Garcia
    Lead Dog Trainer

Madison has been training dogs professionally for over 4 years. She comes to us with a strong background in animal psychology and training with + Reinforcement methods.  Madison has trained many of her own dogs, but started her professional career as a Manager and Trainer at Petco. • Kai Miller-Wallace
    Lead Dog Trainer

Kai was the first Trainer we hired over 5 years ago. She was born and raised right here in Santa Barbara. Growing up she never had less than two dogs in her home, and had raised two puppies by the age of 15. During her time at Boston University, Kai decided that her real passion was helping people and their pets, so she got a minor in animal behavior while spending her free time shadowing with a local trainer in Boston. After graduating, she jumped right in to a professional career in dog training, and has now helped countless owners and dogs during her 5-year career. Kai is also a certified balanced trainer and Canine Good Citizen evaluator through the AKC

Kai enjoys working with challenging cases the most, and has been the lead trainer in charge of both human and dog aggressive cases for over 4 years. However, she also loves helping puppies, older dogs, and everything in between. The best part of the job is when a client realizes they no longer have to “deal with” their dog, and instead have learned how to truly enjoy them.
